2026 PAPA Convention - CLEVELAND, OH
April 13-17, 2026
Reverend and dear Monsignors, Canons, and Fathers,
Salve in Domino! Niech będzie pochwalony Jezus Chrystus!
It is my pleasure in writing to both announce and invite you to the XXXI National Conventjon
of our Polish American Priests' Association which will take place this year from Monday, April 13
through to Friday, April 17, here on the "North Coast of America", Cleveland, Ohio.
Our local Chapter had the pleasure of hosting our National Convention first in 2007 and then
again, eight years ago, in 2018. Each time we welcomed 60+ delegates - as well as visiting members
of the hierarchy from the USA and Poland - along with many members of the faithful. As we know
how to take care of our priests, those were universally acclaimed as wonderful gatherings and we are
preparing more and better for you this time around!
We are planning a well-rounded event. There will be the necessary time for meetings,
fraternal discussions regarding Polonia and our experiences, and organizational business, but also
free-time to explore and experience all that our great City has to offer, and also time for prayer and
gatherings with Polonia from Cleveland and beyond. It will all culminate with our Solemn
Convention Mass on Thursday, April 16th and the gala Fr. Leopold Moczygemba Banquet and Award
Ceremony.
Along with this letter, you will find everything you need to ensure your participation at this
year's Convention. First, there is the Convention Registration Form to be completed and submitted.
We are so pleased to have as our Convention venue the Crown Plaza Hotel on Playhouse Square right
in the heart of the city center. We have secured a fine rate and complete information for reserving the
room of your choice along with a hotel information sheet is provided. And, what would a
Convention be without its Commemorative Book? A sheet is enclosed with all the information you
need to place an ad in this keepsake edition. Lastly, to help wet-your-whistle on how to use some of
your free time, a page of "Cleveland Happenings" during the Conventions rounds-out the packet.
As the scriptures remind us, much good can happen when there are "fratres in unum" and so
we earnestly hope that you will consider gracing us with your presence at and participation in all or
part of this year's Convention as you are able. We await your arrival, look forward to welcoming
you, and ask your prayers for the success of our efforts.
Yours fraternally in Christ,
Rev. Fr. Eric S. Orzech
National Secretary
Convention Chair
